Student privacy
No advertising, no sale of student data, tenant-scoped school records, data export and immediate cloud-data deletion.
Accessibility
WCAG 2.2 AA is the internal target. Keyboard access, high contrast, easier-reading typography, read aloud and non-drag alternatives are part of the product.
Security
Authenticated server routes, role checks, audit history, revision recovery and encryption in transit. Staff MFA must be required in the production identity provider.
Independent assurance
A third-party penetration test and SOC 2 Type II are release gates for district-scale claims. Casebound does not represent either as complete today.
Preliminary accessibility conformance report
Casebound targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA and documents procurement conformance against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The current report covers keyboard operation, focus visibility, reflow through 400% zoom, semantic controls, text alternatives, reduced motion and editor workflows. Screen-reader and table testing remain part of every release gate; exceptions must be documented rather than hidden.
This is a product-authored preliminary ACR, not an independent certification. The complete working document and district contract checklist are maintained in the repository's district trust package.
